Who I Am

I have been an attorney (retired since 2014) since 1999, with a practice focused solely on Mediation. In addition to this work, I have diverse business experience—including contract law, Entertainment Law, LLC’s and corporations, retail and wholesale business experience including managing retail stores in both New York and Massachusetts, and coaching, teaching and mentorship—and I have gained incredible knowledge which has afforded me the opportunity to cultivate many different skills.

In my Leadership and Executive Coaching, my goal is to fully understand how my clients process, interact and communicate the way they do, which, in turn, allows me to help them navigate the difficult conversations and negotiations within the business structure. Within this business coaching bucket, even while supporting leaders in everything from hiring new employees to addressing questions about advancement and promotion, from developing strategies to supporting the growth of each employee within an organization, the underlying theme of communication and understanding is the foundation we land on. Over and over again..

When I work within the organizational structure of a business, I am helping people understand their own behavioral styles, as well as the styles of those people they are relating to, as the first step in creating authentic communication. From there, we are able to develop strategies and implement structures to support continued dialog.

I am currently on the Vision Counsel Board of a democratic school in Ojai, California. Previously, I was the Board Chair of this school and held the Board Chair role of an award winning theater in Los Angeles.

I am able to reference my business, legal, and coaching experience as I work with clients and businesses to identify the complexities in people’s behavioral styles and what motivates them to succeed within your organization. I am available to help with hiring, addressing questions about advancement and promotion, developing strategies to support and grow each employee that you have, and work with you to develop healthy dynamics and relationships between all your employees—whether peer to peer, manager to staff, or in deconstructing the family dynamics that exist in a family business—to help foster strong communication and understanding.
