EXECUTIVE AND LEADERSHIP COACHING

EXECUTIVE AND LEADERSHIP COACHING

Leadership and Executive Coaching

My Coaching for Leaders Program provides coaching on core leadership skills including communication, delegation, accountability, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness, as well as key management skills.

This One-to-One, Weekly Coaching addresses any challenges that leaders have in their current roles, to support behavioral change and to help develop each person to support their success in their role.

For this one-to-one coaching, I have found that using weekly coaching with an “education, application, reinforcement” model over a period of at least twelve weeks is the most effective model for behavioral change.

During this coaching process we cover the following:
Self-Leadership
—Developing self-awareness
—Developing and practicing empathy/compassion w/ team members
—Understanding the hidden drivers of behavior, communication and decision making
—Understanding and minimizing emotional hijackings
—Learning to recognize micro expressions
—Updating personal narrative (the stories we tell ourselves and others about who we are)
Core Management Skills

--Effective delegation with no surprises
--Holding people accountable and changing behavior
—Running productive meetings with psychological safety
—Time management and organizational skills
—Establishing an annual department plan with KPI’s Influencing and Coaching Team Members
—Managing diverse personalities
—Expanding repertoire of coaching styles
—Developing situational leadership skills
—Motivating and inspiring team members
—Giving effective feedback

I also offer this Coaching for Leaders Program as a group program for groups of 6 team members. And often will supplement the group meetings with individual meetings when needed.

My Best Hiring Practices Workshop is a two-hour workshop that helps build clear interviewing techniques.  I base this on what we call a Balanced Hiring Scorecard Process—using the TA Assessment as a third of the evaluation, the interview as a third, and education/experience as a third.

This workshop includes suggested key interview questions on Ego Drive, Ego Grit, and EQ, as well as an overview of Emotional Intelligence, body language and micro-expressions.  This workshop is done in a group setting of no more than 6 people.

I also offer a Prosody and Effective Communication Workshop. This comprehensive workshop for Salespeople and Upper Management on the skills of Prosody. Prosody is the patterns and intonations of language, is run by Teagan Rose, a Somatic Practitioner and Voice Activation Coach.

As affective communicators, we need to be able to modulate our voices to most enhance our communication with our customers and our team. Engaging with customers and leading other team members is vital for the success of any business, the Communication through Prosody workshop supports these vital team members to better use their voice in a more professional and inclusive way.

Talent Analytic Assessments
Gaining a deeper understanding of your employee’s Performance Style (how they do their work) and Ambitions (why they do their work) is essential as you build teams, make hiring decisions, choose who to promote into management roles, and solve employee communication challenges.

Performance Style Impacts Business Success
  • When confronted with a challenge or problem, sales representatives handle problems in either a more decisive or a deferential manner. Sales outcomes will vary widely depending on the approach.
  • Some new hires easily embrace change, while other new hires need more time to adapt. Predicting, “who needs what” can help align new hires into your company.

Ambitions Impacts Business Success
  • Untangle interpersonal clashes – might two individuals be misaligned in terms of their ambitions / how they measure success?
  • Understand team dynamics – does the team measure success in different or similar ways?  What value do differing team members bring to the table?
  • Succession Planning – will the new executive be aligned with business ambitions or will they try to take the company in a new direction?
  • Mentor and coach more effectively

Successful Community businesses need insights into their employees. At Garth Rose Consulting Group we have worked for over thirteen years with more than 500 organizations who have run more than 5,000 assessments of their internal talent and their candidates for hire. Our talent assessments have help our clients get thousands of “the right people in the right seats on the bus.”

The Talent Analytic Assessment Tool is $200 per assessment.

About Elizabeth Rose

As a practicing attorney since 1999,  I have diverse business experience—including contract law, Entertainment Law, LLC’s and corporations, and retail and wholesale business experience including managing retail stores in both New York and Massachusetts, and coaching, teaching and mentorship—and I have gained incredible knowledge which has afforded me the opportunity to cultivate many different skills.

In addition, I am currently the Chair of the Vision Board of Rock Tree Sky, a local, independent learning environment in Ojai, California. Previously, I was the Board Chair of Rock Tree Sky and, prior to this, the Board Chair of an award winning theater in Los Angeles.

I am able to reference my business, legal, and coaching experience as I work with clients and businesses to identify the complexities in people’s behavioral styles and what motivates them to succeed within your organization. I am available to help with hiring, addressing questions about advancement and promotion, developing strategies to support and grow each employee that you have, and work with you to develop healthy dynamics and relationships between all your employees—whether peer to peer, manager to staff, or in deconstructing the family dynamics that exist in a family business—to help foster strong communication and understanding.

Part of my coaching toolbox, is the use of Talent Analytic Assessments tool. This assessment examines patterns of behaviors, preferences and motivations and has been a benchmark for understanding the dynamics in all the work I do.These systems have enabled me to understand fully what makes my clients process, interact and communicate the way they do, which, in turn, allows me to help them navigate the difficult conversations and negotiations—whether a divorce, a business opportunity or an artistic collaboration. To be able to help people communicate and negotiate effectively is incredibly rewarding.

~Testimonials~
I am delighted to share my extraordinary experience working with Liz Rose, a phenomenal leadership coach who has profoundly impacted my professional and personal growth. Liz's expertise and guidance have been instrumental in transforming my leadership style and approach.

One of the most significant changes I underwent with Liz's support was gaining a deep sense of self- awareness, both in my professional endeavors and personal life. Through her insightful coaching sessions, I learned to recognize my strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement. This newfound self-awareness has allowed me to approach challenges with a clearer perspective, making me a more effective leader in various aspects of my life.

Liz has a unique way of teaching that shifted my understanding of leadership. She emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence over mere subject matter expertise. This paradigm shift was groundbreaking for me. Liz helped me comprehend that effective leadership is rooted in understanding and empathizing with the emotions and motivations of others. By honing my emotional intelligence, I have been able to foster stronger relationships, build collaborative teams, and navigate complex situations with grace and understanding.
Additionally, Liz equipped me with invaluable techniques for conducting efficient and productive meetings. Her strategies have not only saved time but also enhanced the quality of our discussions. I have learned how to structure meetings effectively, ensuring that every participant is engaged and that the objectives are met promptly. This newfound skill has streamlined my work processes and significantly improved the outcomes of my team interactions.

Working with Liz has significantly boosted my overall confidence. Her unwavering support and belief in my potential have empowered me to step out of my comfort zone and take on new challenges fearlessly. I now approach leadership opportunities with self-assurance, knowing that I have the skills and emotional intelligence necessary to lead effectively.

Liz is not just a leadership coach; she is a transformative force who has helped me evolve both professionally and personally. Her expertise in emotional intelligence, coupled with her practical techniques for effective leadership, has been invaluable to my growth journey. I wholeheartedly recommend Liz to anyone seeking to enhance their leadership skills, gain self-awareness, and boost their confidence. Working with Liz is an investment in oneself that yields remarkable and long-lasting results. Thank you, Liz, for your guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support. ~ Anthony De Souza, Director of Projects, coDesign
